Turbot, mussels, octopus salad, cuttlefish meatballs, toast with prawns, ham croquettes and rice dishes.
Fish and seafood tavern with plenty of local customers. There is more than one place with the same name in Estepona: the one at Calle Real 68 (Edif. Salymar) and 'La Taberna de Lucía IV' at Calle Caridad 10, with a large, quiet terrace and the feel of a seafaring tavern. Ask about the fish of the day: razor clams, carabineros (giant red prawns), spider crab and sea bass are the most praised.
Booking recommended at weekends. If you call, confirm which of the two places your table is at. Cards accepted. Normal prices for Estepona, although seafood pushes up the bill: ask the price of the carabinero before ordering it.
On Calle Real, on foot from the old town.
