- Guadiaro river canyon with almost vertical walls over 100 m high (up to 200 m in places), on the edge of the Los Alcornocales Natural Park
- Puente de los Alemanes: a high, open stone bridge in one of the prettiest corners of the canyon
- The path goes through a small tunnel; nearby you can see tunnels and bridges of the Algeciras-Ronda railway
- Griffon vulture breeding area; otters live in the river

- Go down through the canyon (canyoning) only with a local guide: there have been serious accidents
- The Puente de los Alemanes is not for anyone with a fear of heights
