- On the way you pass the paid Desfiladero viewpoint (not needed for this view)
- Views of the vega (fertile plain) and the ruins of the old mills
Good to know
- Go late in the afternoon: that is when the sun lights up this face of the bridge
- The way back is all uphill: bring water and shoes with good soles; in summer, never at midday
- Free: don't confuse this path with the Camino del Desfiladero, which is paid
- If you have knee problems, the drive-up option to the Mirador La Hoya del Tajo is better
