Must try

Kid goat chops, suckling pig, oxtail, sirloin, asparagus from the wood-fired oven with sheep's cheese cream, fried aubergines with honey, crispy mushrooms with aioli, croquettes and homemade desserts.

About

The place to eat in La Ciudad, the old town: terrace on the square of Santa María la Mayor and a wood-fired oven.

Good to know

Book. The menu is long and comes via QR code. On the terrace the cobbles make some tables wobble (April 2026).

Getting there and parking

La Ciudad has narrow streets and little space: park at the Mercadillo (Martínez Astein car park, 24 h, €1.70/h) and walk across the Puente Nuevo.
