Sardine espetos, ensaladilla, fried octopus, red mullet, coquinas, fried buchones (small fish), grilled rosada, tomato with tuna and paella; for dessert, torrija or rice pudding.
One of the Pedregalejo classics, with a seafront terrace; many people use it as the benchmark for comparing espetos (sardines on skewers).
Call before you go (+34 680 54 41 26): their website does not work and we could not confirm the current opening hours. Order espetos (sardine skewers) and fried fish, which is their thing; opinions are divided on the rice dishes (in March 2026 someone paid €25 for a paella with little rice). Pedregalejo tends to be a euro or two dearer than El Palo, a bit further along the promenade.
EMT bus 11 or stroll along the seafront promenade from La Malagueta.
