Good to know
Getting there: take the MA-8301 from Estepona via Peñas Blancas; a winding mountain road; between 45 min and 1 h 10 min depending on the source
Parking: in the public car park in the centre; the access streets are very tight
Eating: Venta Las Cruces, on the road in (home cooking, meats); in the village there are small bars such as Jardines del Visir
Craft workshops: usually open to visitors; to sign up for one, contact the museum beforehand
Autumn: chestnut woods of the Genal Valley and tostón de castañas (roast chestnuts) in November
You can combine it with Los Reales de Sierra Bermeja on the same route
