- Festivals: San Francisco de Asís from 4 to 8 October, with tostón de castañas (roast chestnuts); Fiesta de las Máscaras (Masks Festival) on the first weekend of May
- On the way, stop at Los Reales de Sierra Bermeja (fir forest and a viewpoint over the coast)
