5 Jotas morcón (cured pork sausage), Iberian ham and cured meats, montaditos (small filled rolls), pork cheek, fried aubergines, octopus salad, oxtail and paella.
Lively tapas bodega with a terrace, between the old town and the seafront promenade. Its founder, Pepe González, started around 1985 with a Jerez-style bar in San Pedro; the speciality is Iberian cured meats.
It fills up: go outside peak hours or book. Generous portions. Take the waiters' advice (Marcos appears in many reviews); there is the odd complaint about curt service (April 2026).
In the centre: park in a car park in the centre and walk.
