About
- Walkway of about 3 km hung on the walls of the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, over 100 m above the river, plus 4.8 km of access paths
- Built between 1901 and 1905 for the workers of the hydroelectric plants; after years closed, it reopened in 2015
- One-way route, north to south; return shuttle between El Chorro and Ardales
Good to know
- Buy well in advance: tickets sell out within hours (online sales until 6 December 2026)
- The official website gives no refunds; some resellers do have cancellation
- Arrive at least 1 h early: from the car park to the entrance there is a good walk along a forest track
- Current price: €8.26 general and €14.88 guided (excl. VAT) plus €1.50 booking fee; for the new concession (2027–2036) a 20% increase and priority for guided visits has been proposed, but it is not yet approved
