About
- Old route of the Jerez–Almargen railway, never opened, turned into a 36.5 km path between Olvera and Puerto Serrano
- About 30 tunnels (several over 1 km long) and 4 viaducts; next to Olvera station there is a visitor centre
- About 12 km from Olvera, the Peñón de Zaframagón, with more than 200 pairs of griffon vultures and an observatory with cameras on the nests
Good to know
Hire a mountain bike in Olvera (the surface is gravel: thin tyres get punctures) and bring a torch or head torch for the unlit tunnels. To avoid coming back the same way, ask about the pick-up service offered by the hire companies.
