- Estepona's urban beach: about 2.6 km (2,630 m according to Estepona Tourism) right next to the centre
- Fine grey (dark) sand, like almost all of the Estepona coast; usually calm water
- Promenade of almost 3 km along the whole beach, pedestrian, with chiringuitos serving paella, espetos and pescaíto (fried fish)
- All services: toilets, showers, walkways, sunloungers, children's area, water sports and lifeguards
- At the west end, the port, the lighthouse and the Mirador del Carmen tower
Good to know
- Parking: the underground car park on the Paseo Marítimo (entrance at the end of Av. Juan Carlos I, 24 h, about 200 spaces) or Zapalitto (Av. España 94, east end); free and open-air, the Litoral car park (about 300 spaces, opposite Carrefour) and the La Cala one, which often fills up
- Accessible: in summer there is assisted bathing for people with reduced mobility at the Av. Juan Carlos I module (amphibious chairs, crutches, shaded area)
- It's the busiest; if you want calm, get up early or head to the east end
- In 2026 no beach in Estepona has a Blue Flag (the marina does); the nearest ones with a flag are Sabinillas (Manilva) and Playa Ancha (Casares)
