Chargrilled almadraba bluefin tuna and tuna tartare, chicken empanadillas, slow-cooked lamb roll, ham croquettes and their 'different' bravas; for dessert, the apple tart. Order in rounds to share.
Gastrobar opposite the seafront promenade with Andalusian-based tapas and Asian and fusion touches. Works just as well for tapas as for a full dinner, with a terrace on the little square.
Book for dinner in high season; without a booking there is sometimes a table, but with a wait. Bread and olives are charged (over €2): decline them if you do not want them. Cocktails are slow. Mains around €25-30.
On Plazoleta Ortiz, on the front line of the seafront promenade, a few minutes' walk from the old town. TripAdvisor lists street parking.
