About
- Historic white village with the well-preserved old quarter of Barribarto and steep cobbled streets
- Calle Real, the viewpoints and the 12 ceramic panels about the Battle of the Peñón in 1569 are highlights
- El Ingenio is the historic sugar cane honey factory building; the Casa del Apero houses the tourist office, a library and cultural spaces
Good to know
- Park in the car parks at the entrance (in summer they fill up by mid-morning) and explore the Barribarto on foot: slopes and steps
- The tourist office (Casa del Apero) is open Wednesday to Sunday 10:00-15:00; the Archaeological Museum is listed as temporarily closed on frigiliana.es, so check before you go
- In hot weather, go first thing or at sunset; the classic photos are on Calle Real and at the viewpoints
- Festival Frigiliana 3 Culturas in late August: check the programme and book accommodation well ahead
